    In this form of email marketing updates are sent to the entire list of subscribers. You can include timely niche/topic related articles, product reviews and allow the subscribers to send feedback and opinions. Some readers will send requests for features and topics that they would like to see covered in future issues; accommodating them will help build loyal readers.

  • Press Releases
    A form of email advertising sent not only to your personal list of subscribers, but journalist and publications. The hope here is to gain access to free publicity if the story is retained for distribution.

  • Retention Email Marketing
    Retaining and increasing sales with existing customers by sending value like helpful information and occasional special offers. The purpose is to give them a reason to continue reading your emails.

  • Postcard Emails
    These are quick announcements typically about time limited special offers with an immediate call to action before the offer is removed.

  • Catalog Emails
    Similar to a brochure where goods and services are displayed as in a catalogue. In a sense this is a call to action email because the expectation is to buy immediately.
  • Email Survey Links
    If you want to learn more about your customers, get them to do a survey. You can find out more about your customer demographics, which can help you target specific localities like, cities, countries, gender. This is also a good way to get material for newsletters by finding out your readers’ areas of interest and just giving them what they want.

  • After A Sale Is Completed
    Autoresponders sent after the completion of a sale are a good example of how you can increase sales opportunities. The automated message will thank the customer for their purchase and offer the option to buy additional related products. If more merchandise is sold then additional revenue is made from backend sales.
